We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager to join our team based in Long Stratton, Norfolk.
This new opportunity will be an evolving position for the right person to take full control and leadership within an already successful team. As General Manager you will manage the daily operations of the business, supporting the team in the office and Engineers on site and resolving any escalated issues. You will ensure all contractual obligations are achieved as agreed and projects are managed appropriately ensuring the customer always receives the highest level of service. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire running of the business from managing a small team of employees including management of the workplace including policies, procedures, HR, H & S and risk assessments and highlight areas for improvement. You will manage and monitor the company fleet of vehicles and delegate tasks as necessary to ensure the business operates smoothly at all times.
The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience of project management and supervising or managing a team of contractual workers, ideally with an M & E background. You will have experience of onsite construction environments with a solid understanding of the build process. Although primarily this is an office based position, you may be required to attend site visits and meet with customers as necessary. You will be encouraged to develop the current work practices in place and review the current structures and make changes as required. You must be a confident communicator with strong IT skills, the ability to multi task and be a person who thrives under pressure.

Field based role – duties to include servicing to multidiscipline systems (including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control), dayworks and installation to these systems, callout duties on a rota basis. This will be a full time (40 hours per week) – renumeration ITRO 30K-35K (including overtime – subject to candidate and experience) Job role includes company van, phone, laptop.
We have a vacancy for a Junior installation/service engineer – preferably ‘part trained’ electrician, but not essential. An important team member who will work alongside our qualified team of engineers. You will require a full driving licence and a checkable 10 year history (can include schooling, college, etc). The job will be mobile based (with other engineers) and will be 40 hours per week, plus overtime.
